Spraying Technology Hub
New advances in application technology is enabling operators to better hit their target for more effective results, and with less impact on the environment.
Pioneered by Syngenta, the Spraying Technology Hub will bring farmers and operators up to speed with the latest developments, and insights into how they can be best used in practice.
Key focus will be on reducing the risk of drift, understanding the dynamics of droplet design and ensuring more spray hits the intended target – where it will do the best job possible.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a dramatic 360° virtual reality experience of pre-emergence spray application – and see how their actions can achieve better black-grass control.
The stewardship and future availability of crop protection products demands accurate and effective application. The Spraying Technology Hub will be the centre of excellence for spray techniques.
Spraying Technology Hub Speakers
At the Syngenta Workshops, specialists will be discussing practical advice on how growers can set up their sprayers to optimise efficacy, boost efficiency and minimise environmental impact through a combination of water volumes, forward speed, boom height and nozzle selection.
Specialists will look into how drift reduction technology is evolving to meet the current challenges faced by the industry and how it could be used in the future to ensure a wide variety of options remain for growers to produce high quality sustainable food. Finally, a look into the future of precision crop protection application which could be implemented onto growers’ farms today.
