Silawrap

We are celebrating 30 years of production in Gorey Ireland. In that time Silawrap has been used to wrap 500 million bales of silage.  Silawrap protects your winter feed in all climates from the freezing cold of Iceland to the heat of southern Italy as well as the wet and windy conditions found in the UK and Ireland. Silawrap is made with 100% C8 resins for strength and elasticity to reduce transport damage. It works on all wrappers.

Silawrap NRF has been used on 70 million bales since it was launched on the market in 2014.  It is unique as it is a pre-stretched product that offers superior strength.  This enables contractors to bind a bale with 3.5 turns of film, instead of 4, a 12% saving. Bales do not burst when operators change Silawrap rolls. It also works on all types of grass as it is 17 microns thick. Competitor films are 16 microns thick.

Silawrap is part of the Signode family which produces pallet wrap, strapping and other packaging materials.  Pallet wrapping and strapping machines are also manufactured by the company which has factories in Ireland, the UK and worldwide.
