Great, free advice at The CropTec Show 2017
Teresa Rush, Arable Editor, Editor Arable Farming magazine, arable editor Farmers Guardian
CropTec has become one of my highlight diary dates. It’s gained a reputation as the UK’s leading knowledge exchange event in the sector, but what’s so enjoyable is the informal atmosphere.
Great technical content, people and knowledge exchange are the event’s focus. The farmers and advisors we’ve interviewed say the same – they leave CropTec with useful practical advice on how to become better at what they do. What’s really appealing to everyone is that the event is free.
CropTec’s key features include the trade stand exhibition, which includes a wide range of innovative products and novel thinking.
As a journalist, we value the popular seminar programme, there are over a dozen speakers covering the latest issues and thinking in crop breeding, crop establishment, crop nutrition and crop protection. Many of these are chaired by farmers, making the content relevant to what’s actually happening on farms, here and now, as well as the novel thinking the industry needs to evolve for the short and long-term future.
The other thing that I love, is that in late November, there’s no better place to be than in the warm, drinking coffee with some of the most progressive people in our sector.
