Faster, more efficient harvesting with your smartphone
CLAAS are exhibiting on stand 180 in Hall 1
The Farm Scout App from CLAAS has been available for Android and iOS since July 2017. With this application, farmers can utilise short harvest windows to optimum effect, organise work processes and give all staff access to important information at any time – true to the CLAAS motto “Ensuring a better harvest”.
The main aim of Farm Scout is to improve on-farm communication. All staff can chat through the app while they are on the move, display distances covered, share points of interest (such as field entrances) or assign and track tasks.
Questions such as “Have you got enough diesel?” or “Where are you?” can be answered by looking at the app. There’s no need to make phone calls, you can carry out parallel planning and the farm can respond quickly and flexibly to changes such as a turn in the weather.
CLAAS looked beyond the company itself during development of the app. Farmers were also involved right from the start to make sure that the app was designed exactly in line with their requirements.
