Adama launch new-for-2018 Precision Crop Protection Hub
Following on from the success of last year’s extremely popular ‘Seedbeds, Slugs and Stewardship Hub’, and the ‘Septoria Hub’ which preceded it (both of which received excellent feedback from growers and agronomists alike), we are delighted to launch Adama’s new-for-2018 Precision Crop Protection Hub.
This online resource will take a weekly look at the latest crop protection news and advice, focusing on two key areas of importance:
- Integrated disease management in wheat and barley
- Out-smarting herbicide resistant weeds
Throughout the season, we’ll provide a range of useful information regarding the prevention and control of septoria in wheat and ramularia in barley, as well as discussing the options for controlling key weeds such as black-grass, wild oats and a range of other, difficult to control pests and volunteers.
We’ll also keep you up to date on the latest situation with regards to herbicide and fungicide resistance and provide some recommendations for how to overcome these problems by adopting an integrated approach to disease and weed management and how to get the best results from the current armoury of crop protection chemicals. We’ll also provide easy to navigate access to Adama’s range of fungicides, herbicides, growth regulators, insecticides and molluscicides as well as to a number of useful third party resources.
