Head of Crop Performance, ADAS
Roger is a Head of Crop Performance with ADAS and honorary professor of temperate crop physiology with the University of Nottingham.
After a career of over 40 years Roger says there has never been a more exciting time to be a crop scientist, so he refuses to retire! His main interests have been (and still are) in:
- Crop productivity, and
- Nutritional Efficiency, as well as
- Field Experimentation.
Since 2009 he has extended his interest in nutrition to include phosphorus, and he leads ongoing AHDB research on this. His work is published in over 200 scientific papers and reports.
